Be yourself

Haven't you ever wondered
How life would be?

If you could live it
Just the way you dreamed?

Haven't you ever questioned
Why you should follow
The same old path
Whether it brings joy or sorrow?

Haven't you ever realised,

That never once,
Have you strayed away,

From under the sun?

Don't you see in your mirror,
That you have become,
More or less,
Like everyone?

Get out of your shell,

And step onto the stage,

To be what to have to be,

Don't lock yourself up in a cage.

Don't lose yourself,
In the world of all war,
For you have all the time,

Just to be a shining star.

This may not be the best poem,
But what it says is true,

Be yourself,
Let that unique self be the real YOU.

Destiny - Dare to be different

Born with birth , Dies with death,
A page of life, lies hidden at birth,
Slowly it begins to show at times,
When it is seen by the powerful mind.

Some surrender their soul,
Which is what makes a being whole,
Bow their heads in acceptance,
Never think or see beyond the fence.

They walk where they see light,
Saying it comes from above,
Never try to ponder or fight,
Or even question Why? When? or How?

No urge to venture, slip astray,
From the plain, clear, bright pathway,
Never do they once stop to think,
That the decision to surrender was theirs to take.

A simple truth, a simple lie,
Which one? One can never decide,
Faith is all that makes a mark,
A difference between light and dark.

Life was blessed to try its own strength,
The soul can go to any length,
To conquer all that mind is set for,
Mind, has the power to wage any war.

The beginning, the end,
A decision, divine.
The life in-between,
To be written line by line.

With every step taken anew,
Is recorded a step before,
A new thought arises about the next step,
And that's how the story goes.

In the end...

It's a chapter we write,
After the introduction until the epilogue,
And that's what destiny is all about,
Begins with birth, Dies at death,
A chapter in-between,
Destiny.

Friends Forever

Hitting every mall in town,
Driving out, in the sun,
Sharing every smile, every frown,
Can't believe those days are gone.

No matter where we are,
No matter how we live,
No matter how far we go,
We'll surely meet again,
Till then our hearts will be connected.

I miss those really stupid fights,
Now that we've all taken our first flight(away from each other),
I miss those little birthday treats,
Memories bitter and sweet.

No matter where we are,

How we live, How far we go,
The memories remain,
And forever we will stay connected,
Don't you cry, Don't you worry,
Just believe, that we'll surely meet again,
Till then our hearts will be connected,
And we'll be friends forever.

Don't Let Go

Sometimes you hear this voice in your head,
You'll always do, until you're dead,
When you're to give up a fight with your foe,
You hear it say, 'Don't let go'.

Sometimes when you feel lonely, and you cry,
You weep all day, wishing you could fly away,
Just open your eyes, a ray of hope,
Will touch you and say, 'Don't let go'.

It Says,
'Don't let go, no matter what it takes,
Don't let go, no matter what it makes,
Don't let go, listen to me dear,
I will take you to heaven just don't fear,
Don't let go! '

Sometimes it doesn't feel right,

During the night,
Sometimes during the day,
Sometime after a fight,
The ocean will rise up into the air,
revealing an angel who truly cares.

She'll say,
'Don't let go, no matter what it takes,
Don't let go, no matter what it makes,
I'm here for you,
In your days of blue,
I'll reside in your heart and never let you break apart,
Just don't let go.'

Sometimes, just leave it to fate,
Don't let go, until you reach the right gate.
